Kolby Ross leads Lincoln-Way East past Bolingbrook, into sectional final

After setting the tone in the opening set, Lincoln-Way East volleyball made sure there would be no letup in the second, sweeping Bolingbrook 25-13, 25-16 in a Class 4A Lockport Sectional semifinal Tuesday night.As she has all season, junior Kolby Ross was unstoppable, playing almost the entire game and leading the Griffins with 13 kills and eight digs.Knowing it was win-or-go-home game, the three-year varsity starter said she wasn’t nervous at all heading into the matchup.“If you asked me that my freshman year, I probably would have told you I was nervous,” Ross said. “Not today, not at this point.
